The BWS is equipped with two shed winders (each capable of winding up to 12 x 1.0 mm wires in parallel) and capable of produc ing single phase (single pass) stators within 1.5 minutes. Cycle time for a 2 pole/3 phase (3 pass) stator is 3.5 minutes. Maximum stack height of this system is 13 inches (330 mm) and all stator cores were all loose lamination. Maximum slot fill capability of the BWS is approximately 84%. |
