How can manufacturers reduce changeover time between stator variants?

Depending on if you are doing a wire schematic change, stack height change, or a frame size change will directly impact the changeover time.

Alliance has developed our machines for rapid wire changeover and stack height changeover. The machines have developed controls with recipes and part numbers that can be selected from HMI and the machines will automatically changeover for that specification. If the wire count or gauge changes then it is simple to pull the wires through the wind head and continue running the new specification.

Alliance has also developed machines with quick changeover tooling to change to a different frame size. Tooling is pulled out in a cassette assembly onto tooling carts or racks. We have also developed tooling racks with a drive system that can push and pull toolings directly out of the machine and install the other tooling.
